A marvelous energetic class utilizing a wall and a chair as helpful accessories to challenge the depth and intensity of your asanas.

You will learn to access your hip flexors, inner thighs, quads and hamstrings in a completely new way. 

Listen intently to the instructions and learn to turn off your autopilot by experiencing a wall and a chair in your practice. End the asana practice with a shoulder stand on the wall giving you a taste of a supported inversion, which increases circulation in a different way than when we are upright and can assist in deep relaxation when practiced right before shavasana. 

Explore following asana practices in this class:

  • Downward facing dog variation on wall
  • Warrior 1 variations with chair
  • Deep hamstring stretches with wall + chair (+blanket optional)
  • Inner thigh (adductor group) and hip stretches on wall
  • Quadriceps stretch on wall with chair  (= couch stretch)
  • Shoulder stand on wall
  • Shavasana
