A calming Yin Yoga practice touching on every part of your physical body as well as balancing your emotional body. 

This practice is filled with opportunity to let go of your Ego. You can explore your limitations and learn how to work with them. There is so much empowerment in finding a path to true release. 

Along with these deep physical postures comes a quieting of the mind. At the end you will experience a deep relaxation which will restore your energies and leave you feeling completely renewed. 

These are the postures explored in this class:

  • Child’s pose
  • Melting heart (Puppy Dog) 
  • Ankle stretch
  • Baby Dragon / Rocking Lunge hamstring stretch
  • Dangling (Uttanasana)
  • Anjaneyasana with side bend
  • Sphinx pose
  • Cat pulling its tail
  • Supine supported backbend over foam roller/bolster
  • Static backrest

 

Do this practice as a whole on days where you don’t have to rush, this is your time for self care.
