This yoga class offers a wide variety of excellent physical exercises and body awareness movements to improve your Yoga Warriors 1 & 2 in all aspects: strength, stability, mobility and balance.

The warrior series in Yoga – although often considered ‘basic or fundamental’ is often misunderstood in its essence and requires a wonderful highly complex system of movements that condition our body extremely well.

Many do not know how much they are missing when practicing Warrior 1 and 2 without a deeper body awareness and understanding of what these poses want to teach us. 

This marvelous class teaches you to look closer, feel deeper and challenge what you have learned so far.

Be invited to dive into preparation exercises that help us ‘feel’ those asanas better by learning how to find (in your own body) the different muscles that need to be consciously activated to assist in those movements.

The class ends with a wonderful heart-opening passive backbend over the small soft ball or a small pillow followed by a deep relaxation.
